There are several key Legislation and their principles that underpin Health and Social Care services. To provide the best care possible you must make sure that the individual is at the centre of everything you do, provide a service designed around their individual needs,  work together with the individual to meet their needs within the the guidance of the Legislation, making well-being and protection of the individual paramount. The Codes of Conduct  state we must always promote diversity, independence, choice, empowerment, identity and safety.
